King Hussein Cancer Center is seeking to hire the following vacancy:
Network Administrator II
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide input on matters associated with site network preparation and installation of computer systems/networks.
- Install network cables for all network devices in all KHCC premises.
- Ability to evaluate technical offers and making recommendations
- Monitor the deployment of network hardware according to design, and carry out repair and testing of computer network equipment and peripherals.
- Identify the hardware and network needed to provide solutions to problems.
- Install and download appropriate software.
- Ensure users can use the equipment; by provide personal tuition and self-help instructions.
- Undertake housekeeping and report functions for the area of responsibility.
- Resolve user problems related to Network or communications lines and provide technical support directly or through others
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease down times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
- Keep inventory records of all communication and network associated equipment.
- Maintain records of the status of any problems encountered during the daily operation of the network.
Education & Professional Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in computer sciences or engineering
- CCNA certified
- A high degree of knowledge in maintenance of network and computer hardware and cabling, as well as being Microsoft Windows platforms; Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work in shifts and/or outside working hours.
- Ability to lift and move equipment’s, including, but not limited to, PCs and printers which may be heavy.
- Good communication skills, able to understand and communicate with a wide variety of people, especially users.
- Ability to work under pressure.
