Job Description/Responsibilities
- Implements approved departmental policies and procedures and ensures adherence with the processes implemented so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Supervises the activities and work of subordinates (ex. monthly plans for medical representatives) to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.
- Coaches and motivates the sales team of more than one product line in order to ensure that they perform and provide a consistent service to customers and meeting their sales targets.
- Communicates with the internal marketing team on a regular basis to arrange for product knowledge training and other activities pertaining to the execution of the marketing plan to meet annual sales targets for more than one product line.
- Provides data on company products and performance against those of competitors so that the company is aware of market trends and can offer products/services that are competitive in the market for more than one product line.
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures and code of conduct to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
