Senior Procurement Officer (Jordanian)

Responsibilities:
- Manage all types of orders with suppliers and shipping agencies, to avail requested parts in-house within the best prices and lead time.
- Request price quotations from various suppliers and chose best price and lead time.
- Prepare analysis sheet when required.
- Issue and manage purchase, loan, exchange, repair orders, pass-through and drop-ship.
- Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation to process purchase orders within scheduled deliveries and priorities.
- Track shipments from the day the order is shipped till it arrives to the warehouse.
- Request required documents according to regulations from the suppliers.
- Search for new suppliers.
- Fill and update shortage parts list with the status of all requested material for an aircraft heavy maintenance check.
- Cooperate with Operations team to agree upon the longest accepted lead time, and then manage the request’s priority to reduce any extra shipping, AOG and other charges when applicable.
- Attend customer representatives meeting with related departments in the company to provide material status and updates.
- Prepare periodic and non-periodic reports as required.
- Adhere to company and department approved systems, policies and procedures in the course of performing his/her duties.
- Perform any other roles and responsibilities within the scope of his/her specialization as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any suitable field.
- Lower Intermediate English language.
- Good level in MS office application
