Job Description
Role Summary:
The successful candidate will work to ensure the proper water supply to APC facilities from various water resources. He/She should have solid knowledge and practical experience in the management and operations of water resources and equipment such as, but not limited to: Groundwater wells, surface water (valleys, Springs), Reverse Osmosis (RO), Wastewater, water pumping and treatment stations and equipment (Pumps and valves).
Job Responsibilities:
Undertake the required day-to-day activities of water Department by conducting site-inspection and attend meetings at various levels and communication, as needed.
Plan and manage the execution of required maintenance jobs by conducting meetings and communicating with maintenance supervisors.
Oversee the implementation of APC Water Strategy, work with the relevant departments and develop management progress reports.
Manage existing and new water projects and initiatives.
Prepare purchase and service requisitions for the Department "direct issue materials" by soliciting, receiving, and reviewing Department requirements.
Monitor and help ensure safety, housekeeping, and environmental rules by conducting walk-around, initiating appropriate disciplinary actions, and promoting safety awareness.
Prepare periodic reports on the Water Department activities and achievements.
Communicate with the Jordan Valley Authority, Water Authority to solve any common water issue.
Perform other duties related to his job as assigned by the Water Manager.
Skills
- Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Mechanical Engineering or civil Engineering.
- Minimum of (8) years of relevant experience.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent leadership capabilities.
- Self-starter, problem-solver and can work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent Arabic and English communication skills both written and verbal.
