Responsibilities:
- Ensure maintenance and modification of aircraft structures are carried out to OEM specifications with on time repairs to minimize the down time during operational requirements and heavy maintenance
- Responsible for the promotion and practice of safety culture amongst the team and participates in quality improvements activities
- Analyze daily production data to monitor performance and plan delivery performance improvements
- Supervise, assign, and coordinate the work activities of subordinates
- Ensure timely corrective actions on all non-conformity findings resulting from any audits (internal / customer / authority) in the departments / shops within his area of responsibility
- Establish a system of Just Culture by following human factors principles in the shop
- Ensure that the handover procedure is followed in accordance with MOE specifications
- Assist the team leader in technical issues
- Maintain work area, shops, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
- Ensure that the maintenance team follows environmental and safety regulation
- Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with the relevant document and regulation (aircraft manuals, SB’s) and in accordance with Joramco standard procedures
- Ensure that the parts are fabricated in accordance with the approved technical data, drawings, and Joramco/ MOE standards
- Train less experienced personnel
- Take a positive approach to identify and raise any potential improvements concerning safety, quality, and cost
- Prepare periodic and non-periodic reports as required
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture, set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and set deadlines
- Perform any other roles and responsibilities within the scope of his / her specialization as assigned by the direct manager
- Adhere to company and department approved system, policies, and procedures while performing all duties
- Participate effectively in environmental protection programs (energy and water saving, waste segregation) and notify for any environmental related nonconformities
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or Diploma in Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or any related field
- 5 to 7+ years of experience in previous level for B.Sc./ 7 to 9+ of experience in previous level for Diploma in MRO, Aviation
- Accredited certificates or courses in aircraft sheet metal is a plus
- Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and /or test equipment common to trades supervised
- Knowledge of aircraft sheet metal work techniques, terminology, parts, etc. Familiarity with EASA regulations Part 145 is preferred
- ERP knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge in Ms. Office (Excel, Visio, etc.)
- Knowledge of RCA
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications
- Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission
