Job Description:
- Follows all relevant Operations and Maintenance policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Operations and Maintenance to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
- Leads and directs the technicians or operations teams within the shift to comply with the directions of the Engineering team.
- Monitors system performance and function after accomplishment of any recommended modification, maintenance task or significant event and special assignment.
- Monitors all maintenance faults, malfunctions, defects, deferred defects and other occurrences which could affect the continuing operations.
- Analyses components’ durability and failure trends and prepares preventive maintenance plans. Additionally, analyzes process and requirements and prepares operation plans.
- Provides technical guidance and coaching and support for technical or operation teams to ensure individuals are equipped with the necessary skills.
- Monitors the operating conditions, identifies and responds appropriately to problems, allocates or escalates them as necessary and monitors and records their rectification.
- Ensures compliance of operations under own supervision with the industry standards and requirements or regulating authorities.
- Trains subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Operations and Maintenance unit activity is carried out in an efficient manner.
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Education:
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
- 3 - 5 years in relevant field and preferably in pharmaceutical industry
