Description


Job Brief:


Network stability and reliability assurance through 24/7 network monitoring, fault management, and reporting management while escalating cases out of SLA/OLA, NOC will implement standard changes and actions on RAN network to speed up problem resolution and implement urgent changes, also NOC acts as SPOC that insure proper communication with O&M teams.


Responsibilities
  • Assure and fulfill fault management requirement:
    • Correlate issues from different inputs to identify service impact.
    • Create network reports and open the needed tickets on spot, and conduct the needed follow up on open cases.
    • Escalate pending issues before up reaching OLAs.
    • Take necessary first line actions to resolve issues in coordination with related parties.
    • Audit network faults and make sure all issues are being reported to other teams by the NOC team.
    • Ensure sufficient recording for network events and incidents by the NOC team.
    • Incidents reporting and followup.
  • Supervise data Management activities :
  • Implement standard changes agreed with RAN team .
  • Implement first level actions in coordination with Maintenance team.
  • Organize and supervise daily tasks related to change requests from NOC team and conduct the needed audit processes.
  • Manage NOC folders and keep NOC configuration data reliable and up to date.
  • Document and update NOC processes, procedures and policies according to work demands.
  • Plan and implement regular network health and consistency checks.
  • Assure reliable help desk management by the NOC team:
  • Administrate and operate NOC Tools:
  • Generate vital report related to NOC and operations activities:
  • Assure reliable help desk management.
  • Provide 24/7 assistance to public security persons.
  • Work as single point of contact “SPOC” with other operators regarding network incidents.
  • Support NOC team and other team’s members for technical and non-technical issues.
  • Assure implementing and adherence to NOC processes, procedures and policies.
  • Assure proper implementation of access management process.
  • Ensure all monitoring tools are in health state.
  • Propose customizations that drive enhancement on work efficiency.
  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports related to network faults and activities.
  • Prepare needed Ad-hoc reports for higher management related to major events.
  • Generate incident reports analysis.
  • Add right information to trouble tickets to ensure accurate reports for Availability and route causes


Requirements


Education Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Computer Engineering, or any related fields


Level Of Experience


Advanced Experience in broadband activities, principles and networking architecture, and infrastructure.


Certifications & Licensure Essential


  • Driving license.
  • CCNA


Desirable


  • ITIL foundation


Tools & Systems


Essential


  • Trouble ticketing systems
  • Fault management tools and systems.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Good command of MS Office.
