Custom clearance – Logistics Officer, needed for Manufacturing plant located in Jordan, Amman:
- Manage the file of temporary entry الإدخال المؤقت
- Scheduling shipping and deliveries.
- Ensure that goods are shipped and delivered in a timely manner.
- Supervising the transportation of goods from one location to another and arranging their receipt and delivery with shipping companies accordingly.
- Changing defective products and products shipped to customers by mistake.
- Building relationships with vendors, shipping companies, warehouse supervisors, customs brokers, sales representatives, and customers.
- Communicate with different carriers to obtain shipping quotes and decide on the best one in terms of cost, availability, and reliability.
- Ability to manage daily routes and schedules for shipments and deliveries.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
• Professionalism in using computers and building reports.
• At least 4 years of experience in the same field of logistics services.
• Negotiation and persuasion skills.
