1. Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Specialist
2. Location – city, country: Amman, Jordan
3. Job Summary: Senior Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our ITG's systems and data.
4. Responsibilities:
o Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats.
o Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity systems and protocols to protect the ITG's infrastructure.
o Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches and cyber-attacks.
o Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
o Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
o Analyze threat intelligence reports to stay informed about emerging cyber threats.
o Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity.
o Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity
o Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs to educate employees on best practices.
5. Required Skills
o Risk Assessment: Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
o Incident Response: Experience in developing and executing incident response plans to address security breaches effectively.
o Security Tools: Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
o Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
o Threat Intelligence Analysis: Skill in analyzing threat intelligence reports to stay abreast of emerging cyber threats.
o Network Security: Strong knowledge of network security protocols and technologies.
o Security Auditing: Ability to conduct security audits and ensure adherence to security policies.
o Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences.
o Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities to address security challenges and incidents promptly.
6. Qualifications and Experience:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
o At least 3 years of practical experience in cybersecurity.
o Expertise in conducting security assessments.
o Proven ability to develop and implement security policies.
o Experience managing security and data protection risk assessments
o Familiarity with international and local standards such as:
1. PDPL (Jordan, KSA)
2. NCA
3. ISO 27K
4. ISO 22301
o Preferably certified in (CISM, CISA, CISSP, COBIT) or equivalent certifications
